We are heartbroken for the Minneapolis community. As we watch the trial unfold for George Floyd’s murder, miles away, Daunte Wright, another Black man, was killed during a traffic stop by police.
The work that we are doing together to make this country a place where all families can thrive is inextricably linked to dismantling racism in America. We continue to be outraged by the killings of Daunte Wright, George Floyd, Philando Castile, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, and the countless Black deaths at the hands of systemic racism.
